Mummytogirls - 100 years to be debtfree - I think not!

Morning Diary,
Just dropped the girls off at school for the last time this school year. DD2 has been particularly difficult this morning, I really do not know how to deal with her as she can be so rude, then if she's not getting her own way she does this cry which I would expect from a 2 year old! I really hope this isn't an insight into the 6 weeks holidays . She says that DD1 doesn't get into trouble like her and I'm like no she doesn't as she does as she is told and doesn't carry on like you! Any tips would be massively welcomed as we are obviously going about dealing with her in completely the wrong way! This all blew up this morning as I had to call her back for a second time to make her bed and pick up clothes off her floor... I wouldn't say I was being unreasonable!
Anyway just pegged out my 2nd load of washing.. its going to rain tomorrow so need to make the most of it!!
Then as mentioned yesterday once Mr T's have been I will be going to Mr Al's. Total Mother Hubbards round here :rotfl:
Thank you PLMBL and Emmie
Right think thats all for now. Happy Tuesday all xxMummytogirls x0 -
Sorry no words of wisdom i'm afraid regarding DD, could just tiredness and wanting to be off school.
Enjoy your day.x.0 -
My DS1 is similar! This morning I have decided to go on strike as far as he is concerned, after yet another row over him not doing things for himself. I was in the middle of ironing and he wanted me to stop what I was doing and get him a drink while he sat on the sofa . It sounds pathetic, but it was just the last straw in a very long list of him expecting everyone to run around after him while he Lords it up. He said I do nothing for him and ironing is easy (he's never touched an iron in his life!!). He's so rude too and I really don't know where I've gone wrong. We also have to swing from anger/tantrum to tears. I suppose it's hormones but it's not fun.
So, as of this morning, I'm no longer doing his washing/ironing/cooking/cleaning/chauffeuring or anything else he wants. Then he'll understand how much I actually do (hopefully!). XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Afternoon Diary,
Shopping done and £129 lighter... should be able to get by on £50 a week in Mr Al's now. Also caught up with my ironing (again) and done the filing!
Thanks Pennywise, love pottering about!
PLMBL, they sound similar your DS and my DD2! We regularly hear that we are the meanest parents. It does seem like small things which annoy us, but when you're hearing it and battling day in day out things just get on top of you don't they? Ive just been doing the filing and DD2 has received so many certificates at school and cubs over the past month but I feel like we are banging our heads against a brick wall re her attitude and behaviour, however she seems amazing at school.. she's only 8 . You do right to go on strike, I really can't blame you at all. Fingers crossed they knock it off soon  xxMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Diary,
Well first day of the holidays for the girls and the weather is awful!!! The rain has not stopped all morning. Thankfully they seem happy to chill out for a bit which makes not spending money a bit easier!
No washing today
Managed to get some of my planting done yesterday but ran out of time so need to finish that off and mow the grass. Probably Friday now though.
Payday today :j, nothing much to report, must update my figures but need to fire up my old banger laptop to do so!!!
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Weather awful here too
As for DD2 my older girl is 6 and she is so similar! She doesn't do it at school but I always feel I'm on her back for something that would take not even a minute if she just did it, or at least the first time I'd reminded her!
I actually brought her inside early yesterday because of her wailing sounding like a strangled cat!:rotfl:

Second child HI!!!! You saying about bringing her in early reminded me of how DD2 just to be. She used to scream like she was being murdered and all the neighbours just ignored her as they knew she was being dramatic over nothing. She stops it after I pointed out to her that if someone was kidnapping her no-one would come running :rotfl: kids!!!!! xxMummytogirls x0

That's it she's usually doing it for something like 'my friend touched my stone, and I don't want him too' or there's a fly all the way over there :rotfl: :rotfl: My 8 year old we said was the boy who cried wolf because he's always ill when it comes to going to school :rotfl:0 -
She's the girl who cried wolf HI, you may remember our conversation from a couple of months back :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0
