Evening Diary,
Sooooo peeved off with $ky tonight, their incompetence actually astounds me... they never used to be this bad. So they've cut off part of my service before they should even though I'm still paying for it so I rung to complain. Anthony (clearly not an Anthony!) shouted at me, then another woman called me Mr . Stroppy email sent and then someone rung. Put me through to another department, was just about to accept what was quite a good offer.... phone went dead... their phones must automatically cut off at 8pm :mad::mad:
Anyway, had quite a busy day today. Kids had no football today instead they had a party so we went there, then to collect DH's car. Back for a cuppa and then back out with DD1. Had a chinese for tea which was nice so other than the kn0bs at $ky quite a nice day.
Thanks PLMBL, SA and DF0D feel like I need more wine after the $ky debacle!
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
We changed from Sky to Virgin. Got fed up of TV cutting off if it rained, was windy, snowed, etc. They are marginally better customer service wise and no loss of service if weather inclement.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I used to love Sky, and then when we moved to deepest darkest ruralness - it just wasn't available unless we paid over £100 for the most basic package a month!
We'be been with BT since then and are pretty happy, not sure we would go back even if we had the option to!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Afternoon Diary,
Just having a little sit down!!! Thanks SA and DF0D, $ky rung back this morning and gave me a very good offer so I've stuck with them for another year. Haven't tied in with the TV though as I'm not 100% our HD box will last another year as it keeps doing strange things.
Was up at 7am, this seems to be my wake up time now a days. Ive watched the apprentice, wrapped the rest of the presents, washed kids bedding, collected DD and her friend for a sleepover, re made kids beds and now watching a bit of tv whilst waiting for DD2's friend to come.
Not planning on doing much for the remainder of the afternoon. Just sausage and mash to cook for tea.
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Yours was the first diary I read on here back in June when I had my LBM, I read the whole of your diary over a week or so. You inspired me to start my own and although I haven't posted much I've followed with interest.
You've come so far and have literally been posting on here for years. I hope in 5/6 years time I'm still posting and debt free!
Merry Christmas0 -

Afternoon Diary,
Day 1 of the holidays, nice and chilled here. DD's both had friends to sleep so who knows what time they went to sleep.. didn't keep me awake anyway :rotfl:. They didn't get up until 9 which was nice but DH kindly woke me up at 7 getting ready for work.
Girls will be getting picked up around 3 and then we need to go to the farmshop for some mince for tea. Today will be a SSD.
Im also back at my gym class tonight after nearly 3 weeks off. Will go this week in preparation for no gym and lots of eating next week :rotfl:.
Oh forgot to say its payday today :j no payday for nearly 6 weeks though
Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
I got paid last week (14th) and have put it in my savings ready to pay myself next week officially!
I've got about £50 left before I dip into my overdraft but other than a xmas food shop (already budgeted for) I have little to buy.
Sleepovers don't happen here much these days as my youngest son (13) has his bedroom above ours and they literally keep us awake all night so sadly it's a no.
I too plan on visiting the gym everyday this week!0 -
Me again! DD1s friend has just gone, can't be bothered to go to the farmshop now so it will be a NSD :j. Will call tomorrow on my way back from the dermatologist with DD. Ive found some beef in the freezer so we will have that with some mash and veg.
Louby, I can well imagine they keep you awake! Luckily DD1's bedroom is below ours and DD2s is separated from ours with a wall of wardrobes!!!!
Think thats about all! xMummytogirls x0 -
Keep thinking of you as all I've done this week is wash and because the pesky elf decided to strip their beds last night and put on their christmas duvets whilst they were sleeping, I've now got two lots of bedding to do in an already full washing machine!
Glad you got sleep!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
