Hinari Chocolate Fountain - £19.99 Netto

Hi there

Hope i have posted this in the right section as i dont usually start threads as i never seem to spot bargains before all the eagle-eyed mser's here :o

I noticed in the Netto's leaflet (this week's offers) that they have a Hinari Choclate fountain on offer for £19.99 and i havent seen it anywhere any cheaper.

Thinking of getting one for parties etc. does anyone have one or have experience of any choclate fountain ? Are they worth it or a another back of the cupboard item ? Is the chocolate expensive for it ?

Hope its of some use to asomeone but bang goes my diet if i get one :o

    Hi

I own and operate a chocolate fountain rental company (see avator)
Personally I don't think that these cheaper models are very good.
Fine if you only want to use it once or twice and then it sits in the back of the cupboard...but they are cheap quality imports...usually from Taiwan.
If you do want a good chocolate fountain for home use....I would recommend the Sephra one as sold in Lewis's.
Do not use Cadbury's or other inferior chocolate in your fountain...if you do buy one.
We use Barry Callebaut chocolate in the commercial machines..which is the same chocolate that Thornton's use for all of their boxes of chocolates. Although expensive it is the finest Belgian chocolate that you can buy.
Failing that...use good quality high cocoa content chocolate......you can tell the difference.
If you need any more advice or dipping items suggestions...let me know.
When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!
