I am thinking of buying it, it's not mine lol! Oh that would be nice, thousands :rotfl:
Laura, that's exactly how I started off, I have a pile of glow-in-the-dark buttons and no use for them! Have a look here
    http://www.instructables.com/id/How_to_Make_Polymer_Clay_Beads/
and then have a wander round the featured instructables on the right, that's how I found out how to do the lacey ones in my shop :)
OK off to bed right now, I swear! Night night xx

I'll save the link and have a look tomorrow, thanks

Of to bed as well night all x

just commented. Wasn't sure how to get to post comments at first, is it possible to add a more obvious link to post comments at the bottom of each post?
    Thanks Jenna,
I agree about the comments link. I'm trying to work out a good way to make it better. just not quite sure yet.
Hope you get past the block soon - it sounds very frustrating.

any chance of a little psychic opinion? another of my problems/blocks/thing putting me of trying/actually doing things is being afraid I'm not (or it won't be) good enough

Grrr one of the main songs from our wedding just played and i asked OH what it reminded him of and he said 'i don't know' - which is officially 3 words (or even 4!)!!! i said it's from our wedding and he said he knew that but couldn't be arsed to say 'our wedding' - officially 2 words!!!

Grrr to make things worse, he's just shouted at me for making typing noises when he's watching tv! - i couldn't tell him i'm typing about him!
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    Hugs Em,
been there with the songs and stuff.
Sometimes they just feel under pressure when asked that sort of question - like we are testing them.

  • Right, helz, I'm no web expert at all, in fact all I know is what I've picked up since joining this thread but:

    think of a name
buy the domain: 123-reg or easily.co.uk or others (think deq mentioned one other to try)
start a blog - choice really of wordpress or blogger. We all use a mix of both on here and they're both free. :-) my choice is blogger because i find it easy to use and there are loads of free templates available.
you've already got facebook. join the thread's fb group (link on first page of this thread), tell us on there what the fan page is and we'll join up, help you get some visitors.
Hales in a twitter legend, when I check all our tweets I see the original and then hales retweet. fantastic.
set up twitter using that domain name - do you currently use? familiar with it?
set your mse profile homepage to your blog/site so we can all see/help. Don't be shy we only offer honest criticism in a constructive way - or that's all I've experienced

you can bounce ideas round on here, as you know we're all a friendly bunch but I wouldn't mention a domain name until you've bought it. we're a good lot but there are hundreds of fly by nights who come to read and you don't want to lose it before you've bought it.
If you find cally on here, she has a fantastic easy to understand guide to seo but for now I wouldn't worry about it until you get your site up and running.

dang! look at the time. night all.[/QUOTE]

cagne, thank you soo much, that is exactly the type of step-by-step i was looking for but didn't know what to ask for. thank you thank you.

i have found a name and looked on reg123. but they are offering all sorts of things for x amount per month. hosting?/ecommerce?/instantsite?/ssl?

i dont know what these are or if i need them.

but i have done enough for tonight and am going to bed or else i will stay up all night on the net. so, i will be back tomorrow to get proper help on whether i need all these extras or not.

    thanks all, night.

  • oooh, I[STRIKE] need [/STRIKE] want some glow in the dark buttons - are you selling them??

Just caught up with hundreds of pages - boy you guys really talk !

Guessing we need a new thread soon?

Hope you are all well - I havent had an ebay sale for a few days, and I am sulking. But the main business not included in this challenge has been busy this week so I am happy about that.
