Hi Jo - i'm good thanks - hope you are too :) Yes i'm definitely going to do the duck blog, i was looking at it yesterday but that's as far as i got, it's been a hectic week. I have kept it open on my internet so it permanently reminds me to return to it. You wouldn't be imagining your ducks if you could see my garden today!!! - it's rained all day and we have a muddy river meandering from their pond on one side of the lawn, down to the decking at the bottom of the garden! They've also become really brave all of a sudden (actually since she started laying, i think) and i saw them corner my poor retriever against the hedge today - he raced inside, bless him!
    Aww poor dog!

Mabel I think they need to be strong pieces - and ones that show your style and flair (and yes you do have that!!!!) I know this means that you probably need to use a more expensive piece so we should just do one magazine and one piece for now - it would still cost you the same overall but might make a stronger statement. Basically we want someone, hopefully the Editor!, to go 'WOW!' and then go and look at your website to see what else you can offer and then write lots of nice things about you!! We can ask to get the item back, but wouldn't bank on it.

Try looking at it this way:

If money wasn't an issue which is your favourite piece? Which one saysthe most about you and your style and inspiration? Which piece are you most proud of? (I am hoping you have one piece that fits all those questions, if so, then I think that should be the one you send!)

Remember this is an investment, with all investments there is a risk but I will be doing my best to help this be minimised! Don't doubt yourself - I believe in you!! (as do lots of others on here!!!!!)

Got to go!! Don't dribble to much folks I won't have chance to catch up till sometime tomorrow!!!

    xx

I think I agree with Nixi on this one..... personally I would go for your byzantyne necklace / forever / starlight...... other than that I can;t really help much more. If it is a big magazine then I think its def worth a shot....

Evening everyone, haven't caught up properly, been so busy.

Munchki, sorry to hear things aren't great, really hope you get good news about this job.

Well done on the cafe trial / job jo.

MM send what you feel is your statement piece, I think that's what would work best.

Eminently hope you get ebay sorted.

I'm going to have a much needed glass of wine in a mo, been a wierd and not great day, but no where near as hassled or bad as others, so not going to moan, just try to forget it.

Good news Jo re job, hope it goes great. Munchki, that's a really scummy way you've been treated, I agree with Mummyandpaige that it was probably the MD favouring a friend/relative. So often with jobs, it's who you know ...
