Thank you! Hope you get it then
and I kept meaning to say, think the cafe play place idea is brilliant - I had an idea like that (don't have skills etc to do it) as the only thing we have is a big badly-run adventure playground which isn't relaxing at all! Would be great to have a large enclosed area where you could let the kids enjoy themselves and get a drink in peace
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -

and on the same note- haven't heard anything from Saucy today either babymoo or yesterday has anyone else?
If someone were to actually make it, I would certainly deliver it!!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Haven't heard from saucy either. wasn't she going out for dinner with OH and a mexican one day around now. Hope she's ok and not been whisked of to mexico wearing only a jewelled blacklace merkin with nothing but Mabels cashbook as luggage.
Wondering how Shello6 is as well.

Who is thinking of the cafe play place? I know of one (haven't been, too far away) but it seems to be doing well. Google mocha mama and it's the first hit.0

2cats its me but a long term vision of a cafe thats designed in a way that I have been thinking of so people can sit and eat and drink whilstthe kids play in a central area and the food waitresses etc go round the outside so no worrying about the kids banging into people carrying hot stuff.
Wouldn't be a softplay but other ideas I have for keeping things fun and chilled. just somewhere you can go whilst shopping and relax. even have ideas for the food to make it stuff that kids will actually eat in between playing but not junk and not all hidden veggies.
Will look at the one you suggested. Thanks

just had a look - looks good and they are doing a selling used baby clothes agency which along with maternity wear is another part of what I had in mind. also if had the right premises would be sort of like a community skills swap/ sharing centre where peopl could give talks and run classes on their hobbies and a creative workshop for hammering/ sawing/ gluing/ stitching etc for kids like one I've read about in the states called leonardo's basement.
Not sure I'll ever have the time or skills but I've been growing the idea for about 5 years now and its not gone away yet.“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

That one I mentioned has an area where they invite in baby massage/sing and sign/kindermusik etc. to do demos/freebies. Nice idea.0
