Dilli - sounds like my OH, he is not one ot be left alone nd is hampering every attempt I make at a bit of independance, but let him buy himself boat to do up and keep him occupied and since then have hd some time to do my things. Not suggesting you buy him a boat, but something to keep him busy and out of your hair, a hobby maybe.

Oh still thinks I have to drop everything to do what he wants because he is oh so much more important, but its not so often now, so I can cope with it.

Rachel- excited and nervous! Ummm will they let you pay in installments, I know the OU do, think if your OH weren't working it would be free, but as he is, don't think funding will apply, well done on getting out there and doing it! :T

Thanks, it is my first course since I left uni, which was 10 years ago but I'm not on any benefits. I will ring the college and ask, theres no harm in that is there? x

Dilli please forgive me if I am wrong but it sounds to me like you already know that the relatinship isn't working and your just too scared for whatever reason to admit that and do something about it. You have my sympathy hun, I have been there and you will find a day when your strong and realise your better than that.

On the other hand don't rise to his FB status thingy, thats exactly what he wants you to do, if anyone mentions it say you haven't seen it and play it really cool, that will annoy him so much more.

MummyandPaige - He would be lucky if I threw him off a boat let alone buy him one! The thing is he has loads of mates, loads of hobbies, doesn't want to do anything unless it involves me. It is just too needy. I do love him, but I still want to kill him.

Respond with "you get what you give" its my stock responce to OH saying I don't love him anymore, doesn't make things better, but shuts him up, and I usually get a bar of choc out of it. Or organise a girls night out, nothing !!!!es off OH more, he has this mind set of alcohol+arguement = I will cheat never have, but I know that is what he thinks so I play on it.
