I feel really bad now for my first post back being a moan...sorry guys.
It's OH's sister...he had a meeting so rushed off and I let myself in, he hasn't seen it yet and won't be back for an hour or so at least.
Shes gone, I think his parents warned them we were hoping to come back today so they scarpered this morning. All their food from the past few days is in the sink on the plates, and they ate the food I cooked? I made two lasagnas and lots of cakes, and they are all gone.
OH will go mad when he gets in, but she lives an hour away, so his parents will say they'll talk to her and for us to just clean it. They tend to think we over react...It's just frustrating. I didn't like the idea of them being in our space anyway, really, but I didn't feel I had a choice.
I will go check the site, OH must have been listing while I was in hospital, bless him. They didn't do much, by the way!
I've got so much to catch up on...anyone wanna summarize the last few days for me? Hee hee hee.
Edit: The bathroom smells of...something vile, and the whole house smells of stale milk. In two days?! How on earth did they manage this...I guess I'll need the pro plus and a mop, it isn't fair to make OH come back to this too. Glad I've got you guys to keep me happy while I clean at least!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Theyre awesome Paula! :-D - Still can't think of a gripe for the mechanic one, i'll ask DP's parents later.
Saucy, glad to see your back hun. How are you? Sorry you were in hospital hun, take it easy and if I was you I would take pics of the mess your sis left you in and next time your asked to let your sister stay there tell your OH's parents exactly why she can't....what cheek!! ((hugs))0 -
Don't do anything till your OH gets home Saucy, it's not on! He needs to make his sister come back and sort it, hour away or not!0

:bdaycake:Happy birthday babymoo and nixi
fellow pisceans, ive never known so many March birthdays till I came on her
Saucy i know how you feel I always end up cleaning other peoples mess, not fair0 -
It's just the cheek, really. We left it perfect...I can't stand it being messy, and I'd just tidied up before I went to hospital...I'm okay, by the way, I managed to pass out just after I'd opened the fridge and knocked myself out on the door. My consultant told the nurses to keep me in but was called away on an emergency, so I haven't seen him...am having funny turns, I suddenly feel violently sick, unable to walk, have a headache and earache and am really dizzy. It takes a few hours to wear off...had one this morning so the hospital wanted to keep me in but they've let me go so I can be at home as long as I take it easy. Which this isn't, lol.
I feel so behind now...asked the hospital for a copy of the letter they posted in October as it didn't turn up, they said fine, and to ask at reception. Reception charged me £10, and have given me the wrong letter...this one is one sentence long. It literally says "My full name suffers from join pains, immobility and poor exercise tolerance." and my doctors signature :S
(Is that last bit supposed to be an insult? It feels like one!!
Edit: Sorry, huge post! Can you tell I've missed you guys?
Happy birthday Nixi and Babymoo!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Saucy you sound like me. Take it easy hun, I know its horrible with it being messy especially when it isn't your mess but its not worth you ending up back in hospital from trying to clean it.
Also theyre not allowed to charge you for your notes, legally they have to give you a copy of anything you require to see, I have a copy of all mine and never paid a penny. I would look into that0 -
Babymoos right Saucy- leave the mess so OH can see and taking photos is an excellent idea. It's his sister, if he can't tell his parents that she can't stay then he's responsible for what she's done. Sounds harsh but you shouldn't suffer for what she's done.0

Definately. I know when I had my own place, I was in hospital for 3 weeks and my flatmates trashed the place and I mean really trashed it, they were smoking in the flat when it was a no smoking flat, in the tenancy, my mum went in to pick some bits up for me and said my flatmate had let 12 people in and they were all smoking pot so she took photos and sent them to my landlady, explaining I was in hospital and couldn't do anything about it but could my landlady deal with said flatmate and she gave him 2 weeks for breaching his half of the tenancy. To this day flatmate still hates me for it.
Mum and stepdad then spend 2 days .. yes 2 days, cleaning up and bleaching everything it was disgusting, not been cleaned since the day before I went in hospital and mum refused to let me go back there till it was super cleaned as I had had major surgery and could have caught anything from the mess that was there.
I really feel for you hun, its horrible knowing that someone is in your personal space when your not there and even worse knowing they have abused your trust.0 -
Hey Saucy glad you ok, have to agree though, regardless of weather it is OHs fault or not, it is his sister, his responsability, you really don't need the added agro.
Had a nosey at the additions, wondered why your site was down last night! Just a quick one, did you know that you can add 99 notebooks to your basket and pay £4 shipping. Don't know how, but is there a way to limit the number available, or stock numbers or something?
My turn for a moan, does anyone use Iceland cook from frozen stuff? Did a little experiment this week, bought a weeks worth of food from Iceland because it is quick to cook stuff and time is limited at the moment, but just cooked and eaten a chilli from their cook from frozen mince and it just falls apart, can they really class that as meat? Sorry, just felt I had to share. This was one of the better meals of the week!
