oooh had an idea for Dennis the Menace mugs
I'm going to do some alternative easter presents.
single cup with contents then wrapped in cellophane ...
So, got idea for gluten intolerant, diabetic, non choccie eating ( eg make up) ...
I need a nostalgia idea now. I used to buy the Beano and I loved Pacers sweets, Texan bars, sweet bracelets, Caramacs... Can anyone else who is old enough to remember the Beano in its prime give me some ideas of what else they remember around that time please?

Is it just me that's been plagued with colds this winter? I'm sitting here blowing my nose constantly on great wads of loo roll ... And how come you lot keep buying each other's stuff but not a psychic reading or domination session ... plenty of husbands need whipping into shape :rotfl:0

Happy Birthday Skint!!!!!!!!!
Boy, I remember all those things so well! Mary, Mungo & Midge!! Loved it!! I'm sure Midge used to scamper along the window sill at the beginning, I have memories of being terrified he'd fall!
Good to see you Amber, sorry you're feeling carpy though. I'm lucky enough not to have had a cold in ages, touch wood. Feel for you though hun, it's depressing! Sorry, my OH isn't even in the country, let alone needing a whipping! Actually, maybe a whipping would bring him home? :rotfl:

One of my all time favourite songs is the one he did for War of the Worlds, damned if I can remember what it's called though. Duet with someone ~ no Nathaniel no, there must be more to life, there has to be a way, we can restore to life, the love we used to know .....
