Husband has same grade all over so am going to be adventurous and invest in a pair of hair clippers. Can see that they range in price greatly and would appreciate any recommendations.

My husband bought some cheap remington ones so I could cut his hair to save the pennies. It works really well now i've cut his hair a few times its deffo getting easier and the clippers still work really well. My advice is to get some cheapo ones just in case you don't use them ever again.
HTH. Good luck with the cut!Sealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -
Start off with a higher number, then you can have a practice getting it right - there is a knack to shaving in the opposite direction to the way the hair grows to get it all off.
My DH has a wet/dry hair clipper with ceramic blades, rechargeable so he can shave his head in the bath and then just rinse it away, makes it easy to tidy up the hair.
He's had wahl clippers too. They do all get blunt after a lot of use. I'd expect to pay about £20 for a half decent set.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

My DH has short hair that grows really quick (what he has left of it anyway) and about 5 years ago he suggested I try and cut it with clippers. I just got a cheap pair from Argos. Think they are by Waht or something or other and were about £10 or less. Am on second pair because I dropped them on ceramic floor and broke the first set, duh! but they are really easy to use. I started off on number 3 to get going and then went to 2 and am on a 1 now. He did have the 2 on top and 1 at the sides bit, but even that is easy to do. Just take your time go in the direction of the hair. Good luck.I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0
