Not sure if this is the right place, please move if incorrect. I have a pair of flip flops wirth leather toe posts, which kill my feet and cause mega blisters. Rather than charity shop or throw them does anyone know any way of softening the toe posts.

Don't know if it helps but to stop flip flops hurting while my feet get used to them at the start of the summer, I rub a little bit of vaseline between my toes where they rub. If I don't have vaseline, lip balm usually works just as well.0

Scholl (and I think Superdrug and Boots own brands too) do a sort of sticky-backed sponge stuff, which you could wrap round the toe post - less bother than having to put it on your toes, and likely to last several days at least.0
