Now i have done a few searches and come up with lots of bad stuff about this company but i was hoping for a bit of advice about the letter i've received.

I got a letter from them yesterday in regards an outstanding gas bill almost £600 for 2.5 years at a property.

A little background, i did live at a property on the estate for around 10 months but even after chasing never recieved a gas bill, was a new estate and very few people did.

The letter has a postcode for an address but it's not the one i lived at, it is also for a period that i didn't live there in full.

Should i ignore this letter and just contact the gas company to try to sort it out?

  • I've just tried to speak to the gas company but they are refusing to talk about it as it's now with Leeds Consultancy Services, is this right?

Having never recieved a bill how can i find out more information without ending up being chased and ending up deeper in?
