Got some intersting news in work today - My job has been changed and I have been asked to take on a load of extra responsibility - initially my boss said It would not attract any more money - but today she said that my job description would be rewritten and the job woud subsequently be reassessed and possibly re-banded. I know it is only a might - but I can't help getting excited - would mean an almost £9000 pay rise!!!!

:j:j:j fingers crossed for you :)

pap - I've got six already. A dragon on my left arm, the symbols for spirit and yinyang on my right (2 seperate tattoos) a shield with a skull and crossbones on my right hip, and a phoenix and a cross on my lower back. This'll be my seventh. I also have my tongue pierced and have got ear stretchers in - only going up to a 12 as otherwise it's too big.

So now I'll be venturing onto my legs.

Wow elf, thats lots, and I would't have put you down as having ear stretchers either. Weird eh... Do you think you will ever have 'enough' tattoos or is it an addiction type thing?

They're not so bad Claire, although it does depend where you have it done. I have two - one on my lower back (vines/tendrills/buds) and one on my left inner wrist (K's name in arabic). I love them.

Ohhh Suzy, your lower back one sounds fab. Did the one on your wrists hurt more than you back? I want my '100' on my right wrist and worried it may hurt... Oh and I have never had one before but I have a very high pain threashold, or so I am told ;)

I am watching you are what you eat, here 'before' table looked horrid, all brown and yuck... However her 'after' table looks amazing, very colourful and lovely. I just want to jump in :rotfl:

    Judi, fingers crossed :j

I have lots of socks. And clothes - think the getting of tattoos will stop the clothes being bought....but I have needed ones that fit, or nice girly clothes as I dress primarily like a man and am sick of being called a lesbian (that's my sister and her wife, not me thanks, I like boys - and girls.....but am picky)

Have decided not to get something garish, but like cherry blossom on a branch, as it'll look pretty and only Pint and me will know how big it is.

pap- the ear stretchers is partially cos earrings fall through the holes left, and I want to go back to a 12mm and put the pretty tunnels in again. This would be the first tattoo in about 2 years, and I'm not addicted, it's hard to explain, it's a replacement for self-harming but also a reward for not doing it - so it kills two birds in one stone - removes the urge for a few months....I'll have to get pictures of all my tattoos and stuff. I don't want to be someone who is 99% tattoo and one percent skin, I think some are truly hideous. Might get a small one on my wrist, but that won't be til I get my degree

No Pap, the wrist one didn't hurt at all - mind you it is just a script so no outline and no filling in (it's when they go over the same place that it hurts like a biatch!). The lower back one hurt when it reached around to my sides (like the guy said it would) as I think the skin's more sensitive there.

And I have a high pain threshold too. I think......
