    Track over shorter period. 10 years is a long time. Working on the assumption that you will still be together during those ten years it is likely that you may start a family and need to move to a new place.

    Track for a couple of years and look at the markets again. Many commentators believe that rates will stay reasonably low for next couple of years as public spending will be cut.

    Just my 2p worth and certainly not qualified advice.
    Love is all you need da da da da da..... and a little help from a forum every now and then.
