I've got as far as here http://www.rewardinglearning.org.uk/qualifications/administration/replacement_certificates.asp
but I'm wondering now where it says
The fee is £10.00 per examination level per session;
For example: a statement for GCE O Levels taken in one examination session, e.g. Summer examinations 1985 and GCE A Levels taken in another examination session, e.g. Summer examinations 1987 would total £20.00;

Does that mean that if I'm requesting my overall A Level results, will I have to pay for 4 sets (winter AS, summer AS, winter A2 and summer A2) or just the 1 final set?

If anyone here has applied for this before I'd be grateful for the clarification.

    As far as I'm aware Yes but I think there may be a tight time scale too! If you don't mind me asking why do you need them? Its just if you are thinking of resitting any for University purposes not all Universities take repeat students you need to be very careful. If you like send me a PM and I can advise further

    Sorry, I think I've worded it badly, I'm not resitting. I just can't find my copy of my results, and I need them for a job interview in 3 weeks time.

    No problem. If unable to get them in time why not in the interim ask the school, college etc to give you something in writing to confirm same.

    Thanks, I'm still on good terms with my school (left with a staff award for contribution to school community, lol) so should get it if they are able to. I just wonder if it'll be accepted by my potential employers (Civil Service)?

    I would be 99.999% sure you will just be requesting and paying for the one set. At the end of the day the employer will want to see the overall result as opposed to a breakdown of AS, A2 etc.

    I would go ahead and request these. Most employers nowadays require sight of exam certificates before they confirm appointment. If you don't need them this time you will at some stage. The Civil Service will want to see the certificates.

    Good luck with the interview. :)

    Civil Service will still consider you at interviw stage even if u dont have certs to hand but they willl check your results are bona fide at some stage.

    I lost my certificates due to relationship problems (my ex trashed all my stuff) but the college I did my Alevels at gave a covering letter, so you should be ok.
    good luck

    Thanks! Only thing I'm wary of is if I request the one, they might send only the modules I sat in the final session of exams. I wouldn't have the time to request the rest again before the interview.

    What job are you going for with CS? You may want to check if going for an interview what the format will be. I know for internal jobs thay have been using critera based interviewing and although you may be brilliant at your job and know everything about it inside out, its no good they just want to hear the "Buzz" words.

    Thanks for the advice, it's competency based, and I've been talking to someone who had same interview last year. No excuse not to be fully prepared now!

    Made quick calls to school and CS, school's sending letter out, and CS will accept this in the interim, so happy days.
