Hi everyone,
this is a question for anyone who has a DMP with CCCS, received a letter to day from a debt collection agency, logged into my DMP through the website and then went to ammend the old account number for this debt to the new one but I'm a bit confused as what to put;
The debt collection letter states the old account number for the debt but also has a number saying "our ref" so would I put this number in as the new account number?
Best Wishes

You need to call Customer Services on 0845 272 5400, sooner rather tahn later - it is better to call CCCS to do creditor transfers because Customer Services have to send out payment proposals and make sure that everything is correct on the system. If you are confused as to which reference to give, have the DCA letter to hand and Customer Services will tell you what format you are looking for on the letter.0
