We bought our house 2 years 6 months ago, it is worth £148000 and we put £28000 down as deposit and borrowed £120000. As it was our first home we have spent alot of money buying furniture and doing some house improvements and now have approx. £15000 of debt on Loans and visa's. Our mortgage is due for renewal in 6 months. Should we keep the Loans and Visa's or re-mortgage putting this debt onto the mortgage?

highly likely that you wont have enough equity to do this.0

have you had a valuation...you bought it for £148k 2 and a half years ago ...what it is worth in 6 months time now may be more, may be less, or may be the same. If it is a repayment mortgage the outstanding mortgage will also have reduced0
