A good MSE start...

I know that at this moment I should be posting my SOA, which to be honest was pretty grim, but things have changed!

My lovely new(ish) Boyfriend (stark contrast to the debt-mongering beast from hell who ran up a personal credit card, causing thousands of me debt and then stalked me when I split) has asked me to move in with him.

We are looking at a place on Saturday, its near where I used to live and is an area I love! I only moved as I could not afford the rent and extra petrol costs to commute while being alone. Now we are looking at a 2 bed house and even with the extra petrol and other car costs I'll be saving at least £120 per month, more if I suceed in really cutting down the bills. And instead of being in a tiny 1 bed place we'll share a nice 2 bed with living room, dining room and (gasp!!) a washing machine. The house has even got stairs, and there was me thinking that was something only millionaires have!

But I'm still learning to be a good MSE! I've done my first menu plan, have also started a bizarre combination meal plan to use everything up in case we do. Switched to Primus saver plan and made a list of the cheapest way to call the internation numbers I use regularly.

I've also joined Pigsback and Quidco and are planning on quidcoing as muxch as I can while searching for new insurers, gas supply etc when I finally move.

Feeling much more positive and looking for ways to save on everything!

Thank you MSE wizards I'll let you know how I get on!

M
