Just to let you all know, this is not a glitch but is a genuine promotion, in my local there wasnt much left , but what there was had labels saying they were 3 for £2

SELS in my local were all 3 for 2 NOT 3 for £2. I'm pretty certain that some poor Tesco minion has boo boo'd when doing the computer set up - Tesco will surely notice this very quickly so anyone wanting the deal needs to get to the store PDQ! Even though my SELS were 3 for 2 I still got the bargain of the year as it scanned at the glitch price.

All products in the St Helens store have been removed and a notice put up - due to priceing error all John Frieda products temporarily unavailable.

in my local tesco, winchester, i think they have a glitch on thier john freida and charles worthington. a single john frieda shampoo is £4,80, but get 3 of them they come up for £2 for all 3, they might have otherbrands but didnt notice, i just cleaned the shelves!! got 9 bottles of shampoo and conditioner for £8, instead of over £45, bargain!!

Nice one OP, the Mrs did very well thanks. £115.20 worth of shampoo and conditioner for £16.
The best thing about it though is getting one over on the monster that is TESCO.

Online for me, it's showing Andrew Collinge, Charles Worthington and McAdam are also in the offer - might be worth looking for them if the Frieda products are sold out/removed?
  • Stoke on Trent Longton store - SEL's still in place, yellow 3 for 2 ending yesterday....tested the water by buying 3 items....on self service. pressed total, hey presto. Went back and got another £150 worth of stuff for about £18, was bright red standing in the queue HA! There was LOADS and loads hence the reason I bought quite a bit. Was there 20 mins ago if that helps. In the melee forgot clubcard!!
Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!

I got some sets of the Mark Hill (offer now expired) but didn't get on with products so this is a great glitch.
I couldn't resist trying for this. Popped up my local store as needed some veg and the John Frieda & Charles Worthington shelves were 80% empty and a SA was busily removing SEL and ordering new ones to be printed, she mentioned that she was removing the SEL's as they were wrong, picked up 3 of each and they went through at £2 so I put them in my car and went back on got 6 more, I heard the SA saying to another that they wanted to get them changed asap but I did hear her say that they knew they were going through at the wrong price and they seemed to just be hoping that people wouln't buy tom many until it was fixed. So until someone says it's not working I think it's a case of ignore SEL.

My local store in Cheltenham had the stickers up, but not very much stock left ( at 4p.m.). Still, bought 6 items that I will use for £4! Things that were left weret things I wouldn't use - loads of conditioners, curl spray, styling gel (bought 3, lots left) etc.

    Great spot - thanks!
  • It's going through at the Leeds city centre Tesco, off Albion St. They only have John Freida (no Charles W.) but I got 9 bottles for £6! SELS say 3 for £2. Thanks OP!
Freebies: Nov - £5 Habitat voucher; Dec - £5 Amazon voucher, mini bottle of Glavya
Wins: Dec - £100 voucher & £100 for charity from Lands' End, Garnier Set from E4 :rudolf:
  • There's plenty of stock in Kingsway Dundee (but no John Frieda thickening conditioner left, sorry :D), and the glitch is working.

Thanks for this, hope they still have some left in the morning, can't get up there tonight.

I've done an online order and included lots but earliest delivery is Wed. Lets just hope it works, have done a screen dump so I'll be prepared to argue a bit with CS should I have to phone, a bit like the washing tablets the other week, lol! I just love this website!!:j

I got to Tesco at 4pm where the SA's were in the process of changing the SEL's from 3 for £2 back to the original price.
I asked if they were changing the Tills and they said it will probably be done over night.

So I filled up my basket and got about £150 of hair products for about £35.

Now I'll have enough shampoo and conditioner to last me a couple of years.

Anyway must go, have my hair to wash....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
