The Asda in Roehampton always sells a pack of three bars of plain white soap for 13p. I use them all the time for the bathroom and shower and handwash.

It also has a pack of two white toothbrushes for 10 - yes ten pence!!!!

The bristles are not really hard, and are just as good as the one the dentist recommended at three pounds each.

Suspect that they may be available in all Asda supermarkets.

Also have found that a local Iranian supermarket has herbs in large packs which cost one pound and last for ages.

There are excellent pound shops in the area too - the ones at Tooting Broadway and in Wandsworth Southside have superb food and many other bargains all the time for one pound each..

Living in London is very costly and I am always looking for ways to save.

My personal method is not to go shopping for anything except food, then I am not tempted at all!

Best wishes to all Savers,
Gill
