Remortgaging at age 62

I`m 62, work part-time and collect my OAP as well. I need to update my property and would like to raise £20,000. I only have about £7000 left on my mortgage. I have applied to 2 organisations but one refused but wouldn`t give reasons; another (my current mortgage provider) says they`d probably only be able to lend me more over 2 years. I intend to carry on working as long as I`m able. I can`t find a list of lenders that would be willing to lend to the over 60s - anyone know where I could find this?
