I have had a quick price around there an if the coffee table you require is Solid Oak Rachel then £199 is not actually a bad price:o

I have seen similar tables to the picture at up to £400:eek:

Try riteprice or the other lot with cash in your hand, they may come down a little, or play them off against each other;) thats Very Money Saving:T

It's even more money saving not to let that type of person near your home in the first place:rotfl: they get a mug in their hand at mine, like it or lump it:rotfl:

If your stuck your 'Friends' at 'Central Perk' will let you borrow a lovely table for the weekend;)
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

The prices shown on our Website include home delivery anywhere within mainland Britain on orders over £300 for orders under £300 a surcharge of £25 will occur. Large items are transported directly to your home in specially equipped furniture vans and are carried in by trained furniture delivery staff. Smaller items may be delivered by a parcel service. For delivery to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver free to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.

God its great to live in our wee country:rotfl:

Have you tried waving cold hard cash at a salesman in any of the aforementioned shops ????

Its a great incentive I learnt from my Mother;) she would haggle a price for ages, when agreed she would then pull out the cash and ask for a cash discount:rotfl: most times it worked too:T:T:T I do not have her skill however:o

    steveymp -

I know of local shops that supply this table - i just didnt have a picture so used that link.

But if you need it by Saturday you are looking at getting it from somewhere that has it in stock. They may knock something off for ex-display.

Are you really desperate for real oak? If not have you considered Ikea for a cheaper option? They have a similar table in oak effect for £22 in the Lack range or a Leksvik table for £75 which has cubby holes under the table top.

I know Ikea isn't the best furniture in the world but we've got a Leksvik unit in our front room which is extremely sturdy and doesn't look cheap and/or tacky.
