we wre hedaing to the nNEC soon and will be there early for a conference ... where is the best place to get a good value breakfast at tne NEC or train station

No idea, but if you get a Bite Card (free) then you get 20% discount at a number of food outlets at mainline stations. Which makes the eye watering costs of station coffee in polystyrene cups slightly more bearable.
NB it doesn't cover ALL station outlets, eg the AMT carts which serve a divine hot spiced apple drink aren't included.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
There's a Weatherspoons and a subway at the NEC - both of these shouldn't break the bank for breakfast.
alternatively if you have time, you can take the 3 m air rail link into brum airport from the train station and you get a load more options landside there.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
