What is this part for?

Hope you don't find this dumb. But what exactly do you mean when you say ethical money saving? I mean what's the difference? By the way, if you are going to ask if I'm new here, the answer is yes.

Hi Jeff, welcome to MSE!

I think (but I could be wrong ;)) that this board is primarily for those who like to be greener, e.g buy eco friendly products, fair trade etc.

Obviously, being green and saving money don't always go hand in hand, so really this forum is to discuss these issues and save money where possible whilst still being 'green'.

It could be finding the best place to source a particular cleaning product, I've also seen threads on solar panels and the like.

    Hope this helps :)

Good question. This is my thoughts. The ethical aspect is a much broader topic than just green topics. I would say that being green is always an ethical issue, but not all ethical issues are green ones, for example fair trade/workers' rights, which I figure explains why it's green and ethical.

Perhaps they would make more sense other way around though, as green seems to me a subcategory of being ethical rather than the inverse.
