Hope BB is ok, she hasn't posted for a while

Ten, she is taking some time out from the internet after her recent decision. Its all in her diary... I miss her too, especially her lunchtime 'head changes' :rotfl:

Snaggs - I thought he was collecting the books the other night.....I really do think you should post a blow by blow account of who what where when, I'm seriously lagging behind here :D

He didn't come for them on Friday as we had arranged 6.30pm, and he decided he wanted to come at 4pm instead, and I was busy so said no.

So he came today - he had asked me to leave them on the step if I went out ('ie to do the school run') so I suspected he would wait until he knew I was out. He did try to, but as usual, couldn't get it quite right, and arrived just as I arrived home with the kids (the one thing I didn't want was for the kids to see him again ). Anyway, we barely spoke, I was getting N out of the pram and chatting to her so did well at putting a brave face on. He looked and sounded miserable, but I barely looked at him, just passed him the books from the step and carried on sorting Natasha out.

After he left, he texted to say 'thank you', so I replied 'You're welcome, take care', and he replied 'Aye, look after yourself, run well', and that was it.

Glad we texted as it feels better than saying goodbye on horrible terms. I'm really tearful but, as Bunny has just pointed out, I have closure now.

    Quick rundown of the rest:

Date on Monday was fun but not going anywhere. I had him down as rather arrogant, he was a lot nicer than I thought, but the 'hotness' that had been hinted at in our messages wasn't there in person.

Date on Friday is with someone who really does seem nice, but have only seen a rubbish photo so have no idea if I will be attracted to him.

Date on Saturday is with someone I have been friends with for ages online, but have never met. I don't want a relationship with him, he is still in love with his ex, so again, going nowhere, but we have just agreed to go out and have a laugh, to take our minds off other stuff.

    And that's it. :)

She told her OH to leave, SRM. I hope she sticks to her guns, I know she felt scared of being alone, but grrr she deserves so much better than him.

She was taking a break from MSE to force herself to get 'out there' in the real world a bit, although I wish she would come back, because whatever she decides, I think it would be better to have her friends around her. She knows where we are if she needs us though.
