Where I can see that date in creditexpert? The Vodafone Account record doesn't exist anymore since this update from Lowell.

Is within 6 months of when you made last payment to vodafone, the default has been correctly applied in terms of dates.

it will fall off the report on 26/02/2012

One of their agents also assured me on the phone, that if you pay this debt then you will not be defaulted, not once but several times.

Try speaking to this person again. If you've done this already, what did they say?

Surley they would have meant pay the debt , in full , and by a certain date , to avoid a default (even if they `forgot` to say that bit , thats what they will say surley)

Thanks a lot guys for your advice and comments.

According to DarkConvict it will fall off the report on 26/02/2012. Could somebody else confirm this as well please.

So, the only way to remove this is to talk to the Lowell guy who assured me that Lowell will not report me as a defaulter if i pay the debt. Is that correct?

    Regards,
    Raheel

Yes the default is in lowells name, they will have to remove it.

Lowell must have sent you a notice of assignment since buying the debt to have changed the default name though.
