I recently bought a Creative Labs 8GB Zen Micro Photo & that required a minimum of WindowsXP with service pack 1. I use WindowsME and my pc wouldn't even "see" the player. Looks like this one is the same. Worth noting if you don't use XP.

is it different to the other h10 on there for sale?? I believe the H10 Pure doesnt have FM radio etc which although it says so on the screen info....
edit just checke dthe iriver website and i think this is the pure.....so check before you buy people!

Iriver cost-reduced the 5GB version (by removing the radio feature) in order to incur smaller EU import taxes.

This is a 6GB model and as such will have the radio feature. If you aren't afraid to update the firmware, you can can convert this unit to work as a USB mass storage device and thus enable it to work with OSes other than Windows XP. But you will need access to an XP box to do the conversion. I bought one of these for £170 and it has worked flawlessly - I'd buy another if I had another pair of ears
