Hi,
My house insurance has gone up to £60 pcm, so I need to change supplier. I can get it half the price pmc with AA. But I have always paid by installments and have been with my supplier 5 yrs. If I change to AA they charge interest, will they do a creidt check and if so would they allow me to pay in instalments? Also if they do a credit check it will show up on my file and I am not allowed extra credit on my DMP.
Has anybody got any advice on this subject for me? I just dont have the whole cost of the insurance up front.
Many thanks

Have you checked on the likes of moneysupermarket.com and gone through Quidco for the insurance to make it cheaper?
As far as monthly payments go you should be fine and your DMP will not consider paying for a household utility as extra credit as it is already declared on your DMP as an existing bill.
