Agreed. Looks like the first part of the 21st century is going to be plunged back into the candle light murk of the 19th century and all thanks to those deserving men and women in Brussells :lipsrseal

Hear, hear! And don't get me started on those poor souls who are made ill by these bulbs and whose life will not be worth living in a few years time because they won't be able to go anywhere....

I have two chandelier type light fittings in my lounge and dining room which are on dimmer switches, and the new bulbs don't work on those either, as well as being unsightly. I've been stocking up on a life time's supply of ordinary candle bulbs - (if anybody's interested Poundland have 6 for a pound, as opposed to Mr T who wants £1.50 for two).

Also, what about everybody who has their outdoor security lights on sensors, because I understand you can't use the new bulbs in those either. WHy on earth do we accept such rubbish from these (unelected ) people? Maybe we should have a campaign and all lobby our shiny new MPs to overturn this.
    Hope is not a strategy.
