Is it worth selling on baby clothes?

I'm due to have my second child soon who's a little boy. I've bought a mix of clothing bundles from ebay and also new items from decent stores. I do freecycle plenty of items but wondered if anyone sells on baby clothing in good condition? I'm going back to work four days a week but as my childcare bills will be higher than my salary any spare money to spend on next stage clothing welcome
. Not eligible for any benefits or help due to husbands salary really just looking into recycling clothes so that I can put the omey towards the next stage.

I think it would be worth selling anything that's in a good condition. Maybe at a car boot rather than online though as then people can see what they're buying.0

Hi as you've bundles from ebay, other people must do. Check out the completed listings & see what they're going for. Under 99p start price is free to list, but you have FVF & paypal still. It may be worth trying the good makes, monsoon, next, etc as singles & others as bundles.0

Just a thought, but if your child care is costing you more than you earn, wouldn't you be better not working??0

Hi,
I have just had my second child which was a girl so when I found out that my sons clothes would be of no use to her I sold most of them on EBay. It takes quite a bit of time and effort but it is worth it. I would say if you have something that is in really good condition or new with tags that you do it as a buy it now with a fixed price that you are happy with. But try and be realistic with your selling prices (as said, check completed listings for a rough guide) also remember that if you list things starting at 99p they may well sell at 99p. Bundle up the used stuff if you don't think it will sell well on its own but keep an eye on how much it weighs and how much that will cost to ship.

You could try NCT sales, they seem quite popular, I'm putting some items in one in a few weeks...Money is the root of all evil! :eek:Give me yours and save yourself!!0

Sell them online maybe not a good choice. As for baby clothes, people would like to see what is selling with their own eyes.:ji love to be loved by you:j0

I don't know if you've ever used the Netmums website but, there's a section on there where you can offer things for free, for sale and also a wanted section. Its free to post and you can select which areas you want to post in - so I post in my local area and surrounding areas too.Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........0

Thanks for the information
. I'm going back to work as I'm not suited to being a stay at home mum - I think they should be given medals. I had severe PND with my first and also suffer from a long term medical condition. Being at work is actually less tiring and easier for me than being at home :rotfl:. I think I'm a strange one  Trying to earn £2015 in 2015. Slightly early start
