I am another one laid low ill. I have had this annoying cough since monday and it wont let me sleep. Nothing works for it. Went to the doctors yesterday and he gave me some strong antibiotics but no sicknote. Which means I have to go back to work on saturday as my self cert runs out) which I am dreading as I have no energy at the moment and the antibiotics have not yet kicked in. I just wish it would go away so I could get back to my normal energetic self
thanks, lol i have to pay private for the privilige, seeing her in 2 weeks and dont want to go:( seeing dentist yesterday cost me £160! dentist advised me to get the sonicair and did, which was £125 then £35 for seeing the dentist!
aww hope you get better soon, can you not go back to dr's and ask for a sicknote? hugs xxx0 -
Laughing at a post from Martin Lewis fan page on facebook which says
You gotta laugh! My sister just texted to say she was talking to a friend from overseas who mentioned the Gordon brown comment She said she was disgusted that Brown had said that poor old lady was “big titted!”
It really has made me smile0 -

I can't believe you have to pay that much for pain  That's what I don't get with dentists you are paying them to put you through pain or that's what it always seems like to me. Then they sell you stuff too like you with the sonicair I got told to buy two tubes of expensive strong toothpaste last week on my yearly visit (hmm seems like I'm on strong everything at the min - I will be walking round like a zombie soon lol)
Just keep telling yourself it will soon be over then you don't have to go again for a while.
I've only ever seen my dr twice in 10 years and he is scary (to me anyway) and guess what yep the cough decided to have a 10min rest - was back with a vengance later though. It's a nightmare trying to get an appointment its one of those where you have to phone up on the day to get in on the day with not many spots available. Will be going back though if these pills don't work.
Luckily I've only got my short day on sat to struggle through then got sun and mon off as it is the bank holiday - YAY :j0 -
yeah gotta love dentists:rotfl:hugs anyway xxx
