Doc put me on steroids for my asthma. I hate them, hate them, hate them!! I never noticed any side effects when I took them short term a few tears back. Then when I was hospitalised with my Crohn's Disease last year, I was pumped full of steroids and was on a high dose of them for 7 months and the side effects were awful. I hated taking them Now I have only been taking them since yesterday (on 8 a day!) All my bones ache, I can't get comfy, the pain is just constant. Mood swings! They're terrible, I'm a right narky knickers and I turn evil. OH hated me taking them last time cos was like I had a complete personality transplant!!
Just really glad I only have to take them for 5 days this time!! Couldn't bare any more.
Sorry for moaning, OH hates me talkin bout me bein ill :rotfl:

Morning! Had an early night last night as on new meds to make me feel better and I slept well.Poor Mum and Dad were worried about me overnight wondering how I was and wheather I was sleeping :rotfl: I am getting better dont feel as bad as I was recently thank goodness.

Hope you feel better soon sweetiepie.I have to take them often for breathing problems ,hate them cause they can make you put on weight but dont get many side effects or dont notice any probably cause i am a moody cow and unstable anyway lol.

its my birthday and feeling horrid:rotfl:woke up middle of night shivering and a really sore throat, cheeks are all flushed today, great timing!

no birthday wishes from my boys, although ds1 did draw me a card this morning! its lovely though and got some strawberries from mum, she hasnt ordered my elemis stuff yet and a disney top from dh plus a disney dress

I've started to go backwards on my birthdays now so it takes me longer to reach 60 lol

Tulip (Katie) glad you are feeling better and that the new meds are working. Everything seems brighter after a few good nights sleep.

Sweetie you are amazing and so well organised. Hope your asthma works itself out soon. I can't take steroids as I am allergic to them so I just have to suffer through it with extra inhalers etc.

PPD hope you feel better soon.

PMS hope your back is better than it was.

I have a shopping gift card from Christmas but can't really be bothered to go out shopping I need a new pair of jeans, I have some new ones that he bought me but they are too good to use everywhere. I need something that I won't have a heart attack wearing when am down on my knees mopping the floors ..how exciting/elegant is that :cool:
