    Debt-free and Proud!
    morning all..
I can't believe what i have just seen when dropping the boys off at school.I was late this morning so was the only 1 in the yard apart from 1 other. All the children were in fancy dress today , well 1 little boy wasnt dressed up and was taking a paddy with his mother and teacher (didnt want to go to school) so after a few mins the parant left and the boy was still taking a paddy with the teachers so the head came out and literally dragged the little boy into school and i mean dragged with feet trailing along the ground the boy screaming this has really upset me was horrible to see i wish i had said something now i know i am probably totally overeacting but i feel like i want to take my boys out of that school asap dont really know what to do it takes alot normally to make me cry but this has really upset me

sorry my spellings and grammer is really bad!

Hi, do you know the mum and boy involved? If so and this is out of the norm for them then I would be concerned. I know it is not nice for you to see and feel that your boys could be treated like that, but (and I'm playing devils advocate here:D) I had a couple of incidents with my eldest where we had to do this, or similar, in order to get him to school (long, long story - when I'm drunk one night I may spill all:rotfl:) and believe me it is harder for the mum than anyone watching:(.

There may be a school history that I'm not aware of, but just my thoughts/ramblings before I dash off with OH to get a new toilet , what an exciting life I lead:rotfl:.

    Morning all

Good luck on the sweep sweetie

Nicolefrenzy - one of my grandsons was a little horror to get into school and I regularly had to pick him up to physically take him in. Sometimes it is better for a teacher or headmaster/mistress to do it as it pulls at a parents heart strings. He would probably have settled down ok once he was in. It was probably because he felt the odd one out if everyone except him was dressed up so the school will probably dress him up in something out of their box.

I shouldn't worry unduly as the mum seemed OK with it so if it was anything untoward she wouldn't have let them do it.

My grandson has autistic spectrum disorder and its horrid as he hates school as he is at an age were he knows he is different and he regularly kicks off especially after a holiday.

Hope everyone has a good day and is lucky.

For those of you that are interested!

I posted about my friend Wendy who has set up the charity I work for called Black Country Food Bank who has had her laptop and phone stolen!

If you want to hear Wendy, she can be found on the Podcast for Tuesday 2 March 2010 on the BBC WM site - Ed Doolan show - she was on about 12.20 p.m.
