Afternoon all.
Well, after an early start due to dr's appointment the day has just slipped away from me and I am only just getting on my pc. I haven't even done any housework yet either.
Doc was running late then the chemist had a queue they also hadn't done my repeat prescription that they got on 1st April so I had to wait for that too. Got back indoors around 10.30am. Rang round for quotes to get my cooker mended. Found one I could live with even though it made me go white at the gills then she told me the bank had declined my card. What!!!:eek::eek:
I chased up the bank to ask what they were playing at and then had to ring the customer services. Normally I get someone who doesn't speak English but this time I got a lovely scottish chap whoi was bright and cheerful. He told me they had entered the expiry date incorrectly which is why it was refused. Chased back home to ring them back to oganise and sort it out.
Finally, I get off the phone after arranging it and the cheque arrived with my winnings from Tombola. Must say they have been very quick in sending it. That should help a bit as I had to borrow from one bill to pay for my cooker repair. doh!
Anyhow, off to do some comping and try to win something nice to cheer myself up now. :rotfl:
Good luck to all today & hugs to all who need them.If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

I'm totally with you on that hun!! I won so much last year and didn't spend hardly anything!! This year I am getting smaller prizes but could probably afford a Wii a month with the amunt of money I'm putting into it, and time, I spend every spare minute on here xxAfternoon all.

Oh nooooo, there's nothing worse than your card declining, it's mortifying, even if you know that it shouldn't you still feel others are looking at you :rotfl: glad it's sorted for you hun
Yay for your chequeI am not at all lucky on any bingo sites

beginning to feel the same wayOur Granddaughter, Caitlin Freya is now 7 years old, growing up to be a lovely young lady and our Grandson, Findlay Ewan is 3 years old and still a lovable bundle of mischief
one of each, how perfect
