Such a shame about them kiddies in the crash.

I've finally got my pc working again! :j I bought a ethernet converter like virgin said I needed & I even took the back off pc myself and put it in (i'm getting clever ) However, this wasn't the problem. I phoned virgin yet again, told them i'd done what they asked & it still wasn't working. They then said..oh, we haven't activated it here! (I'm not gonna show an angry face, just glad i got it back!) Now I just need to figure out kids laptop problem! :rotfl:

PPD, hope your ds is ok. Keep warm in this horrid weather! xx

Thanks everyone I've said to OH that I'll give it til the end of April & if it's still as slow as these last few months then I'm going to stop for a while. Watch some TV, been ages since I even managed to do that, poor OH never gets a go on PC and never spends a minute with me xx

Evening all :hello: Another hectic day at work today. I've had a couple of very nice wins today though and only have one more day at work before the long Easter weekend so I'm pleased :beer: Need to do a few comps and then shower and then off to bed

Just saw your wins skippycat! I would have been checking what I can buy too! I've bought a few things from laredoute, they do nice stuff. The only thing I found was their trainers were funny sizes. Me & OH both had to get a size bigger.

Hey sweetiepie, I know how you feel. I spend a lot of time on here but would love to win something nice for myself or a hol for us. I don't think I could be without comping though, I felt so down last week and hardly entered any, mainly browsing. Things are looking up as from today though for me. Got my pc working again, OH has just got 4 job interviews today for tomorrow & next week and he has started sorting out the kitchen! Good things come to those that wait!

I know we're softies here in London but it's been blinking freezing here today :eek: :eek::eek:

Still, against all the odds managed to do March ending comps :eek: and Easter is nearly here! :j - so looking forward to Dr Who and Ashes to Ashes! :j

I also got a red slip from postie today - a signed for letter .... mmmmmm ?????

Can't collect it till Saturday - so excited but it will probably turn out to be nothing :rotfl: Enjoying the not knowing though!

Struggling with the flake site...but enjoying the visa comp (only started a day or two ago, can't believe I missed it!!! :eek: It reminds me of the Magnum comp a bit but I haven't won anything yet...Got OH to find some receipts of online payments and he found 5 then I asked him to split the payment in the shop but he ignored me :eek: Just paid for the shopping in one payment, so I got him to get cigarettes from a further shop to use the card rather than from the usual shop down the road......


I can't believe how time fly by, I am glued to this screen but tomorrow will make the effort to enjoy a wine just sitting on the sofa staring into nothing lol

Ooh I hope you get a visa win NoName. My DH wont let me have his receipts, he keeps hiding them & I keep finding them!
I've not tackled end of month comps. Bit late for me now!

Freezing here too Esther. Glad we haven't got snow though,(yet). I feel for you lot that have.

I'm a newbie to the comps forum and don't really know where I can post a question about a problem I have with the 'Whats on TV' site (I can't find a logout). You all have such lovely chats in here I feel I'm intruding a little if I ask for help. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I've been doing the visa comp for about a fortnight, got at least 2 receipts a day and still won nothing, zilch :rotfl: Same with biscuits, entered every day in mine and OH's name and not won a thing. Some compers have won more than 4 big prizes off it!! Just not my time :mad:
