Hi Nid
Sent of a CCA request to Halifax on behalf of my mum.
They sent a letter back saying that they are currently awaiting the documentation to fulfil her request blah blah blah.
But the last paragraph states the following
'' The Ministry of justice headline reads '' Businesses that mislead the public by claiming they can arrange for unpaid loans, credit card debts or other consumer debts to be written off have been told to stop or face action Justice Minister Bridget Prentice said today, as new guidance was issued by the ministry of Justice''
What does this mean?
Thanks.
always smile no matter how broken you are.0 -

P.S I mean could link try to falsify the original agreement?
Yes - they have been known to copy it onto an agreement - but stop worrying, go back a page and see my message about this yesterday!2010 - year of the troll

never-in-doubt wrote: »Stop being so keen... it's pointless clock counting for them to then send it a week after your final response, kinda gives the game away to them so just sit tight until you're quite certain enough time has passed, but you wait at least a month from original CCA Request before sending a CCA Query and another month before the final response/cca dispute letter so really, it should be 2 months before you consider writing again..... but yes, you would send the CCA Dispute / s.10 template
See above - same timescales and yes, same template as well.
You send this: Debtors Final Response - No CCA Received
Anytime mate - cheers :beer::beer:

Hi Nid, its now 4 weeks since I sent the t&c query to Cap1. No mail(even a statement) other than the default. Ive not recieved a final response etc. Am I ok to just forget it and go with the flow see what happens or do I need something to confirm that i'm done with the matter?.
Been busy reclaiming ppi and charges so had sort of forgotten about this.
For what its worth ive just had the best month in 6 years purely from the knowledge ive been doing something to get on top of my debts and that £300+ has made a huge difference. I actually made a dent in another credit card balance:)0 -

Hi NID
Hope you are well.:j
If there is PPI on an agreement that I wasnt aware of then how do I go about recaliming that - or should I not bother? I know PPI is not your thing but if I'm going down the unenforceability route do I send out the letters on the MSE website or do you think I should let it go?
Thanks
