kit kat- best bargain eternal hunt mission

Ok i pre- warn you I am a bit of a nut when i get a 'mission'

Here it is;

I love 2 finger kit kats- esp the flavored or dark varieties....

Tesco and Asda price then at £1.62 for 9 - Asda have them on buy 2 packs for £2.50

But i am sure a better deal can be found......

Now the rules are that imitation brands and own brands are fine -BUT they need to taste at least as good as kit kat and you must be able to eat them in the correct manner (i.e nibble off all chocolate first they dissect wafer part) AND they need to either match or better (i.e be lower than) the calorific value of kit kat.

And be careful as most imitation brands sell wannabies in packs of 8 rather than 9..........

Can anyone better 18 bars for £2.50? same taste and without going over 107 cals a bar?

    Waitrose had 2 x 9 packs for £2 at the beginning of the week - don't know if they are still on offer though.

  • For a long time our local Tesco Express did the packs of nine for £1. They are probably still that price.

  • Yeah, I think they do. It's like the KFC at Thorpe Park, for example, costs more than standard KFCs (and I think it works the other way round as well)
