Yeah, but you'll have to pay cancellation charges. It depends whether the savings > cancellation charge

There is a comment on the "travel board" that Scotrails payment system played up on the final day and that they MAY repeat the offer soon. There is no confirmation of this but worth keeping your eye on here and the travel board just in case.

I tried to get 5 tickets before the close on Fiday 21, and at stage 7, it asks for credit card details... this I did, but each time it said the card had been declined! So I tried again, then the same respose. So I tried another credit card... the same!!! I closed the website down, and tried again... the same!!! I tried, including phonong up First Scott and Customer Help (0845 and 0870 rates!) but no luck, only confirmation (especially as many people had phoned in about the same problem!) that there was a problem on their website, and they will try to correct it. After 4.5 hours of pulling my hair out... over a simple task of booking 5 tickets, I phoned my credit card orgs, and guess what... on one card it had put through payment 5 times!!! and on another twice!!! I was mad, and stressed out, I called up First Scott again, explained what had happened, and asked them to cancel payment due to a fault on their website... they said they would look into it and call me right back... guess what, I'm still waiting, with a possible credit card bill for 7 x £40.50 = £283.50!!!! And still no confimation of any tickets bought from First Scott!!! What can I do???

booked my tickets friday for end of august, they've come in this mornings post. many thanks to op, two great days out coming up for me and dd during the summer hols to places we wouldn't have gone.

Help me, I'm stupid.

I booked tickets successfully and will be using them tomorrow but I can't get into my account to print a receipt.

Can someone look at the site and see where the 'my account' facility is - I just can't see it anywhere.
