I hate referencing too. My essay the other night took three and a half hours, then the referencing was another two and a half. The OU's a lot more flexible than it was at 'real' uni, where you could lose marks just for not putting a full stop at the end of each item in the bibliography. But I hate having to put references in the text instead of as footnotes, it takes so much more time because if you do it as you go it eats into your word count.

Hi Ames, two and a half hours!:eek: WOW - I must admit I started to do mine and fell asleep.:rotfl:

I love an afternoon nap - especially if I am going out at night :D

It was referencing my OU assignment that put me to sleep. LOL

I know, it drives me mad.

I've just sold a book on green metropolis, yay! Especially since I've just bought two books on amazon for my course...

Going to have a nap I think now.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Where has the day gone?
Been to morrisons, delivered nappies and fed the baby.
Fancy an old lady's nap myself now - at least I have the excuse of being an old lady. :(

    Another load of washing finished.

I have just had a toasted bagel, followed by a coconut finger and a cup of hot tea.

Am a bit tired could do with an old lady nap, but unfortunately my 2 yer old is in no mood for a nap!
  • ARGH - I hate microsoft. I got a laptop at christmas and as I've used word more than 25 times, I'm unable to update my assignment.

LMC - that's the quota you are given before you need to upgrade to the full Microsoft Office package isn't it?

And yes, I read about the Ryan Air passenger.....what a plonker.
