                    Hi,
I am hoping to get broadband shortly so will hopefully be able to download some music.
My priorities are:
Staying safe with regard to payment details.
Obtaining the music I want.
Good sound quality.
Reasonable price.
Suggestions please.
Thank you.
Mike

try Spotify or Napster - both have pretty good reviews and usual secure ways of paying.Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0

            Thank you exup,
I have looked at Spotify & Napster but neither seem to offer potential customers the chance to establish if they have available the type of music the customer might be interested in.
 Have I missed something?

http://listen.grooveshark.com/ is well worth checking out.
I've been using last.fm prior to this but the good thing about grooveshark is it has far less restrictions - none of those silly rules like only hearing 30 seconds of a track.
Also I have noticed a lot of tracks are 192kb/s rather than the usual 128kb/s that last.fm seems to offer.0

            Thanks Boliston,
Unfortunately due to my slow internet connection I am unable even to load the front page of Grooveshark!
