Someone on another board I belong to going to see Metallic in May, she has asked me about cheap hotels near the Odyssey? Or Travelodge?
I have no idea, so anyone suggest one?
Thanks in advance.

The premier inn isn't too far away.0

Yes. Premier Inn 5/10 min walk. Also Ramada Encore (more expensive) but same distance or new Ibis approx 10mins away.0

Malmaison sometimes have offers on too, but yes Premier Inn Waring street would be the closest budget hotel (Either there or The Merchant lol)Dave0

Stayed in Premier Inn recently when going to an event at Odyssey and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, brand new and the most comfortable pillow I've ever slept on. :A
I was sorely tempted but I didn't take one! It's a very easy walk back from the Odyssey too especially as we were fortunate in it being dry.
Used the BT tokens for dinner in the Four Corners restaurant at the hotel too. Very good. :T0 -

Agree 100% with the above!
New premier inn on waring st is lovely. Basic as expected, but clean and comfortable with decent facilities for the price you pay.
And a very quick walk down to the Odyssey.

I would wait until closer to the date and book on lastminute, I found they have cheap rates for luxury hotels. Or if you are a member of the 'perks' scheme you can get really good discounts on malmaison (sp)0
