    Wow Sarah,

I'm actually quite amazed with what you have on your plate. As a single woman with a similar sized debt I'm quite in awe.

Others have suggested things of which I think food and smoking would be top of my list. Make sure you are going shopping with a list and keeping to it.

You have a family loan so some elements of your family must be aware of how tight things are for you. I would go and see them (preferably whoever lent you the money) and explain that you are going to have a couple of years trying to rid yourself of debt and you are going to have a major cut back on presents i.e. kids only. It might be an idea to get the kids to make presents instead - a picture or something. This willl mean something.

Thanks B, off to shops later as i'm having a skive day from college ;-( will be going with my list tho and cash not debit card so hopefully that will keep me on the straight and narrow if I use up the stuff in my freezer i'm hoping to halve my shopping budget this week - we'll see!

loving the polar bear idea I could stick that on every laptop/pc/games console etc (and we have a lot) might get the message through to the kids (and me).

even gonna dare to put washing on the line today seeing as i'm here and the sun appears to be shining....................................

Do you ebay, with how many kids clothes and stuff you must get through it might be worth having a big clear out.

Also any stuff not good enough for ebay put aside and come easter do a big car boot :)

I have e bayed in the past but with not great success - the little ones clothes go better but recently I had a huge sort out and bagged them up for friends I am gonna give it another go tho ;-)
Did do a car boot towards the end of last year and made a bit but it is hard work - have to take the 2 little ones with me as boys are at XOH and getting 2 3 year olds up at 5am - and amusing them in a field all day is a tough call - I couldn't do it every week but I would consider doing another one maybe round easter if I can find enough stuff to flog ;-)
