bit confussed as my old gas account was passed onto sc gray solicitors limtied and i thought i had paid my first instalment to them but i have just noticed that i stuck it on another account to another debt collection.
i have just looked at my account for the one i missed and have noticed they have stuck on another £100 on to this account :eek:
can they do this? and what do i do, do i pay my next amount or asking them whats going on?

They can only add charges to the account if they are allowed under the terms of the agreement, usually once it is passed to a debt collector they cant add anything.
What reasons have the given for the £100 increaseAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
they didnt give any never even know they had done it till i checked the account on line and it has been passed to debt people and on the letter i got of them was £100 less:eek::eek::eek:grand total of debt on 21/1/11 is £8,208.19 :eek::eek::eek:

Ask the debt collection agency (DCA) for a breakdown of the debt on the account because the figures do not match up with what was owed when the account was passed over.
There maybe a £100 disconnection fee, but that is very high for a gas account so i doubt it.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
