Gosh that is good - our local co-op is so small that they don't always get these offers but will take a look tomorrow. :)

Yep - spotted that today as well. Best price I've seen for that stuff, possibly ever.

Shame I stocked up on lidl extra virgin not long ago.

I went into the old Somerfields in Loughborough and couldn't find this with the oils but the OP says it's in tubs, can someone verify that for me? I've never heard of olive oil in a tub before and perhaps I was looking in the wrong place

It was in the normal long shape bottles but they were obviously larger and plastic not glass.
  • I bought 8 of these over the last week that should do me about 6 months

I think the OP was trying to describe the display rather than the oil container itself. As the oil is in plastic bottles, they would be safe to put in, for instance, the free-standing wire baskets.

    Also in co-op:

    half price:

    pasta

2 x packs lower fat beef mince £5

I struggled away loaded down as I only went in for the olive oil!

As Co op and Sommerfields have merged does it mean they have each others stock on the shelves or is it like the deals only being in certain stores?
