Well we finally got married yesterday and we had a lovely time.
After the ceremony and loads of photos had been taken the registrar said
"And finally I will leave you with these words, let the road always rise to meet you and the sun always shine on your faces as you journey through life together" Which I thought was really nice and I will never forget.
We then went to a local pub for a drink and a carvery meal, all in all everyone enjoyed celebrating with us.
I did start a thread about getting married for £250 which I just about achieved too so I am quite chuffed.
The breakdown looks like this;
Register Office = £103.50
Rings (mine and DH) = £23.48
Clothes/ bits n bobs = £54.00
Cakes from Tesco (large n medium tiers) = £21.46
Food for guests = £53.44
So in total it cost us £255.88 so just a little over budget, but I can't complain at that.
For anyone wondering about getting cheap celebration cakes from Tesco I can say they are yummy, rich, moist fruit cakes.
So with that I shall say ta-ra :wave: see you on other boards.
