If they are going to York anyway it may be worth it. But why go to York to bowl?? That would be a waste!! York is a wonderful city to visit and for sightseeing!
I would think that bowling is for the locals or something to do in the evening.
The train journey will probably be more than just booking a lane near were they are.

Leeds has loads to offer and loads of special deals and vouchers!!

Where are they? I can search for offers if you like. How old are they and what do they like?
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

thank you lil-tiger, he lives v. close to the city centre and they are 20 yrs old. I got them a last minute tenner spa at the spirit helath club, crowne plaza in leeds, they are into that sort of thing (both are dancers). They like tapas bars too, I would be interested if you know of anything in your area in the way of offers...
and of course they like a wee drinky too :o

:rotfl:Argh I booked twice so could have had 6p. That'll teach me to be so flipping excitable. OoOOoo I can't wait go bowling. I think they are banking on the fact that we will all be forking out on burgers and drinks, I must remember MSE at all times and take my own bottle of water and not get tempted by the Wimpy burger stand :rotfl:
