corsa, I wouldn't get a loan personally if I were unemployed and I'm not sure if anyone would give you one anyway.

Have you got any scrap gold? You could cash that in if you have, that way you will get the cash you need without getting into any debt. Hatton Garden Metals is very good and they are recommended on here. Just put that into google to find them. I am not connected to this company in any way, I have just used their services in the past. You are very unlikey to get a loan if you are unemployed, as a lender would be likely to think you cannot afford to repay the loan (as benefits are meant to be just enough for basic living).

Could you be a little more specific about how much you wanted to borrow, how long for and how much you can afford to repay?
Would a crisis loan be suitable for your circumstances?

I was not looking to borrow alot of cash, around £60-100.

As for crisis loans i have had a few of them when i was much younger, as ive just started to claim job seekers allowance again i tried to apply for one and they turned me down as i was in arrears with them, which was news to me but now they take £5 a week off me which i dont mind.

I could pay the whole loan back as soon as i get my money through so thats not a problem, its just getting a company to lend it.

I think someone in these circumstances is more likely to have gold lying around the house than an old mobile.
