We are starting our DMP on the 01/05 with CCCS as we want to clear a couple of smaller debts in Mar & April before the DMP begins - we sent letters to our creditors with token payments for March - post dated cheques - which they all managed to cash - 3 days before the date!!!! - checked with my bank and they say there is nothing they can do - as it there banks that should have noticed the date and held them back - never mind - glad there was some money in the account to pay them.
Egg have sent a letter today - saying that they are unable to stop interest without speaking to us first - do I call them??
Tesco have sent identical letters to me and HB (two accounts) saying as the letters we have sent are not signed they can not look at it yet (Im sure I read some where on here not to sign the letters), they have sent a template for us to sign and a prepaid envelope to return it to them - do we sign it?
Thank you

Thank you both - printing it off now - will reproduce and get copies in the post to them over the weekend.
Do I phone Egg or do I ignore the letter and just send the same orginal letter with a token payment for April.0 -
I would write to egg not ring them, when you call up they may record the call if it is in their favour to do so, like DCAs they are good at twisting words, adding to the fact not everyone has a mobile/telephone, i would write to them.
As above, they dont need a signature unless your signing a formal agreement, DMP is all informal so one is not required, creditors/DCAs have been known to scan it and print it on forged documents.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
