Hi All
I have been toying with this idea for a while now and would like your views as to whether you think its a good one.
Basically I am thinking of making animal housing (eg rabbit hutches, chicken runs etc). My idea is to make them affordable and as far as possible use reclaimed/recycled materials. I have just made a field shelter for my pigs from pallets and I think it looks pretty good. What do you think?

Sounds like a fab idea BUT you need to work out where you will sell them at, what your costs are going to be and how you are going to transport them (postage etc).
I hope it goes well for you thoughYou never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
I had been thinking of starting small and advertising in a local free-ads paper and putting cards up in shops. Perhaps also making a few to put in a local shop as well. I guess I could look at getting a pitch at livestoc
The materials are mostly free, but there would be the need for some new materials. As to shipping costs, I've no idea as I hadn't considered having to transport them.0
