Hi
Need some wise heads to give advice. First some background:
I'm on a DMP with Christians Against Poverty. In August 2008 I was forced to send a "Communicate in Writing Only" letter. This was received by Mackenzie Hall & signed for on 30/08/08.
Out of the blue I started receiving texts & computer voice telephone calls this week.
Despite the gap of 16 months can I still instigate the complaints procedure and are Mackenzie Hall going to state that texting is "written communication"?
Any help will be gratefully received.

The passage of time should not prevent you from starting a formal complaint procedure.
I don't think that texting should be considered acceptable written communication, you may have used the phrase "harrasment by telephone" so texting would certainly fall under that category.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Hey Rugbymum,
You could try using this letter and see if this stops the calls, if you do continue to get them keep a log of the dates times etc and then make a complaint.
Hope this helps

Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to ask that you no longer contact me by telephone as your calls are causing me considerable stress due to the frequency, and that they are being made at inappropriate times. Please remove my telephone number from your database and send all future communication in writing to my home address.
I have provided the most recent copy of my income and expenditure to make you aware of my current financial situation. I will continue to make my payment of x on the x of every month and will keep you informed of any changes in my circumstances as I am keen to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
I understand that following this request if you continue to call I can contact the Office of Fair Trading to make a formal complaint.
Please confirm in writing that your records have been amended.
Yours sincerely

Thanks for that Sarah, It is similar to the one I originally sent. I did ask for both my numbers to be removed and all communication to be in writing only.CCCS_Sarah wrote: »Hey Rugbymum,
